Post any ideas you may have for the game. This can be rules, fundamental changes to how we play (I.E "we should play twice a week"), or any other suggestion you can think of.

If we wanna play with a mod and we can decide what it should be by next-next week (ie Monday the 20th) I will have all the free time to work on it if need be. Keep in mind I would I won't be able to make a massive mod.

I suggest that we dissallow level 8 forts, they take forever to siege it is not like level 6 forts don't give enough proctection even once out of date they still provide 5 fort value.

I think this is smart and I think its a step in a direction we should go further in. We need to make the late game more interesting some how. This fort change is certainly one way. Lets keep other changes that we could tie to techs that people get late game or set for years, coming.

The issue with this rule is that certain nations simply make better generals. the idea is that if we had a Prussia or other incredibly powerful general maker in the game it wouldn't be long until that nation is selling condottari not because people want his men but only because people want his general. If you want someones general they should have to join the war.

However that being said I can understand that its pretty difficult to make condarratari work without generals. What would you guys think about a pip limit on generals in condarrataris. Something like a 9 max pips? That way you could at least have some protection on your troops. also i would suggest a max 4 pips in any one area that way if someone rolled a 0-6-2-1 early game they wouldn't still get bounced around for massive cash in a war too.

I'd say no limit on general pips. I think you should be able to sell generals, but I can understand why people would not want this so i'd take a middle ground rule as max pips, maybe something like limit the shock and fire pips to a total of 8 max i.e. 3 shock 5 fire.

I'm OK trying it with the good generals being allowed. It may not be too bad, I say we give it a shot.
